Another Award-Winning Achievement

In this year's selection, Guanzhi New Materials' independently developed highly flexible polyester-modified fluorocarbon secondary dispersion PA-4200F won the "2024 Jung Technology Innovation Award." The product stood out among many outstanding contenders thanks to its exceptional technological innovation and strong market applicability. This recognition not only highlights the superior technical strength of our product but also serves as the ultimate reward for our team's hard work and dedication.
Supporting industry development
Based on the nation’s “Dual Carbon” goals, current high-performance, heavy-duty, weather-resistant fluorocarbon coatings for bridges are predominantly solvent-based systems with high VOC levels, creating an urgent need for a "waterborne transition." As a polyester-modified fluorocarbon hydroxyacrylic secondary dispersion, PA-4200F offers exceptional mechanical and storage stability compared to conventional fluorocarbon hydroxyacrylic emulsions or FEVE dispersions. It exhibits excellent compatibility with various waterborne resins, additives, and water-dispersible isocyanate crosslinkers, minimizing issues like sedimentation or sludge formation during mixing and storage—key challenges often encountered with traditional hydroxyacrylic secondaries. This makes PA-4200F highly versatile and easy to apply, paving the way for large-scale adoption. Moreover, PA-4200F delivers outstanding film-forming properties, enabling coatings with superior gloss levels and remarkable fullness, qualities that ordinary fluorocarbon hydroxyresins typically achieve only in flat or matte finishes. In addition, this product boasts exceptional resistance to water, chemicals, and salt spray, along with excellent bubble-free film build and extended pot life. These combined attributes position PA-4200F on par with solvent-borne, two-component fluorocarbon systems, further accelerating the shift toward more sustainable, water-based solutions for heavy-duty bridge protection coatings.

The PA-4200F significantly enhances the flexibility and weather resistance of waterborne, two-component fluorocarbon coatings through polyester modification technology, making it ideal for meeting the stringent anti-corrosion requirements of bridges. Additionally, its high fluorine content delivers exceptional durability against environmental factors. The product also exhibits excellent compatibility with a wide range of water-based resins and curing agents, ensuring both construction and storage stability. As a result, PA-4200F offers a cutting-edge solution for waterborne fluorocarbon coatings.
